Commercial Sales Representative

As a Commercial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for communicating with prospective commercial customers, managing inbound customer communications, setting new business appointments, and closing new business. Successful development of commercial accounts will require a sales professional to use traditional business-to-business sales methods, as well as creativity and non-traditional approaches to deliver customized commercial moving solutions.

Description of Responsibilities: The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for the following duties as well as any specific assignments or additional responsibilities as agreed upon with the manager.


New Business Development (80%)
• Perform methodologies that generate opportunities – including research, cold calling, networking and word of mouth
• Qualify and obtain appointments with potential commercial accounts
• Identify the key decision maker(s) and understand their buying process
• Continually develop, create and manage a robust sales pipeline
• Actively pursue and be involved in lead-developing and networking organizations


Account Relationship Management (10%)
• Work with your established accounts to generate additional business via introducing new service lines and/or products
• Interface with appropriate individuals and/or departments as warranted
• Penetrate account to build multiple relationships with all key stakeholders and decision makers
• Meet with accounts to review performance and business value
• Maintain awareness of customers’ performance, trends, challenges through research and education


General Responsibilities (10%)
• Utilize PRM database to manage daily sales activity
• Submit monthly expense report on time
• Entertain clients and prospects on an as-needed basis
• Stay current with Andrews policies and procedures

Required Education
• High school diploma or equivalent sales experience
• Four-year undergraduate degree


Required Work Experience
• Minimum 3 years of inside/outside sales
• Client relations experience is a plus
• Moving industry experience is a plus
