Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for communicating with prospective residential customers, managing inbound customer communications, and setting appointments for the sales team in the Cleveland offices.  


Key Accountabilities:  This position is accountable to the organization for the following 

  1. Embodying The Andrews Way culture and core values 
  2. Quickly and efficiently moving customers through the survey scheduling process 
  3. Quickly responding to online inquiries during the day and after hours 
  4. Encouraging customers to book a survey, or accept a Virtual Survey 

Description of Responsibilities:  The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the following duties as well as any specific assignments or additional responsibilities as agreed upon with the manager. 


Survey Scheduling  (40%) 

  • Schedule residential surveys and meetings for the outside sales team via inbound phone calls, emails, etc.   
  •  Schedule Virtual Surveys  
  •  Follow up with potential customers who have not scheduled a survey  

Monitor Online Lead Sources  (30%) 

  • Monitor and respond to online lead sources in a timely manner 
  • After hours responses required 
  • Follow up with potential customers who have not scheduled a survey  

Web Chat  (10%) 

  • Manage company website chat feature 
  • Encourage residential moving leads to schedule a survey  
  • Turn over commercial leads to Sales Manager 

Inside Sales  (20%) 

  • Foster relationships with potential and existing residential customers to cultivate new business  
  • Understand the moving business and our competition in order to convince prospective customers to book a survey

Required Education  

  •  High school diploma or equivalent 

Required Work Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of inside/outside sales or customer service 
  • Client relations experience is a plus 
  • Moving industry experience is a plus
