Do you disassemble/reassemble beds?

Yes! Our crews come fully equipped to safely disassemble your bed frames and reassemble them at your new home.

Pro-tip: We recommend leaving this to the pros. If you choose to disassemble the bed yourself, our team will be unable to reassemble it for you. Let us handle the heavy lifting!

Do you unhook/hook up washers and dryers?

No. For safety and liability reasons, our movers focus exclusively on the secure transport of your appliances rather than installation.

We recommend you arrange for these services yourself, or let your personal Move Coordinator handle the details. We can easily recommend qualified, trusted third-party technicians to ensure your appliances are properly serviced and installed in your new home.

Do we need to empty our dresser drawers?

While it is not strictly required, we highly recommend emptying your dresser drawers.

Removing items significantly reduces the overall weight, making the furniture safer and easier to maneuver around tight corners and doorways. However, if your dresser is sturdy and well-constructed, you may leave soft items like clothing in the drawers.

Pro-tip: Please remove all fragile, heavy, or valuable items regardless of the dresser's size. If you are unsure, ask your estimator during your survey—they can advise you based on your specific furniture.

When do we pay for our local move?

For local moves, payment is due at the conclusion of your service.

Since our local projects are billed hourly, you only pay for the actual time spent on your move, following our 4-hour minimum. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for once the job is complete and you’re satisfied with the results.

Should I tip my movers?

Tipping is never required, but it is a common way to show appreciation for a job well done. If our crew provided exceptional service and made your move stress-free, any tip amount you choose to provide is certainly appreciated by the team.

Are there items you cannot move?

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport hazardous materials. Please dispose of these items properly prior to your move:

Hazardous Materials: Propane tanks, firearms, ammunition, paint, and aerosol cans.
Fuel-Powered Equipment: Items like lawnmowers, edgers, and chainsaws must have their fuel tanks completely drained of gas or oil before our crew arrives.

If you have questions about specific items you are unsure about, please check with your Move Coordinator well in advance of your move date. It is better to verify early than to have to leave items behind on moving day!
